Texas Chicken Burgers







For a little kick in your burgers, try making these Texas Chicken Burgers.


Heat oven to 375*, and prepare a large cookie sheet pan by placing aluminum foil on top for easy clean up (trust me, you'll thank me later - I find the foil allows me to bypass using cooking oils, and also makes for an incredibly easy clean up- no washing involved!)

While oven warms, prepare in a large bowl 2 pounds of lean, ground chicken breast. Mix well by hand with 1/2 cup of liquid eggwhites, 2-3 bell peppers, and 1/2 yellow onion. 

For seasonings, add in 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.

Grind and mix well by hand in bowl. Once ingredients are mixed, create 6 patties 2-3 inches in diameter (about 5 ounces each) and place each one inch apart on baking sheet.

Cook in oven for 40 minutes.
That's it! Enjoy - make as spicy or mild as your taste buds desire!
