Supplements to Benefit More from Your Workouts

Think about all the hard work you put into your daily diet and workouts, yet you may feel like you could be doing "better." The reason is this: Many researchers have gathered information that conclusively and greatly reveal that if you train and workout regularly, what you eat is not enough to keep you sustained and healthy. Sports nutrition research shows there are many nutritional supplements that create greater output capabilities which can improve muscular and cardio endurance over time.

Only eating food to supplement your vigorous exercise routine is not  sufficient.
Bottom Line: Your body cannot work efficiently without some form of supplementation.

Most supplements today come in capsule form, and often the majority of them have so many artificial ingredients, preservatives, binders and fillers that the majority of the capsule is waste product in your system.

It's also good practice to verify that any supplement you purchase is the "real deal." Read the ingredients list on your multi-vitamins, fish oil, and protein powders - See what's in them!

Eating healthy protein and fats, along with my carefully planned workout routines, no doubt lead me towards a healthy body and lifestyle. However, I can't always guarantee my body is getting the optimum benefits from diet and exercise. To ensure that my time in the gym is time well spent, I have created a supplement program to support lean muscle growth.

I have experimented with different supplements over the years. Some have worked, some helped slightly, and some have been a waste of money. In order to save you the time and money, I wanted to share what I recommend personally. Please bear in mind there is no "magic bullet" for lean muscle growth and fat reduction. Supplements should only be taken if you are truly ready to engage in a lifestyle of healthy eating and  exercise.
I only promote products on this site that I have used myself over an extended period of time (more than 6 months.) I place product ads within my recipes and workouts that I truly stand by and use, and feel they will help you out. If you enjoy this blog, and wish to help promote my site, please use my links at your own discretion.

You are all wonderful, and I truly appreciate your support!

As I said before, as a Personal Trainer, I try to understand the Human Body as much as possible. To do this, I take different supplements (not without researching beforehand!) to find out the real benefits. This list has been developed specifically for women. Here is my Super Supplements List, to be taken with a well-balanced diet and workout routine:

When considering taking a vitamin or supplement, the options and variety can be overwhelming. As a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, I have tried many different supplements to incorporate into my daily workout routine and diet in search of the "perfect" combination of vitamins and minerals to maximize my results.

Food alone is not always sufficient, mainly because the nutritional content of food depends on where it is grown, when it was harvested, and the amount of soil depletion in which food is farmed.

One of the most common questions I am asked is what protein powder do I prefer. I have been using MRM for almost 2 years now, and enjoy it for it's reasonable price, along with the fact that it has no additives or preservatives or sugar, but still has a satisfying taste and is low calorie. This is seriously your best deal for your dollar when it comes to pure protein.

If you are in a weight lifting routine for 4-5 days a week, it is important to take a protein drink or shake within 30 minutes after the workout. The best form of protein come as a powder called Whey Isolate. These are the most pure form of protein you can digest without additives and preservatives like sugar and carbs. They are also relatively cheap, at around 20 dollars a jar. One scoop, or serving, mixed with water or Nonfat (I use Almond) Milk is best. I also like to have a banana or apple with my shake to ensure my body absorbs the protein into my body quickly.

... So what do I take? Stay tuned for an up to date blog post on this site of what I eat and supplement my workouts with on a daily basis!!
