Wild Rice and Chicken Soup

Here's a traditional recipe for all you lovely, health-minded people out there :) 

Get your slow cooker out and set to LOW. Pour in 4 cups of reduced sodium, fat free chicken broth with 2 cups of water over 1 pound of lean chicken breast.  Add in 3 medium celery stalks, chopped, with 3 medium carrots sliced and 1/2 red onion, diced. 

Add in 1 cup of long grain wild rice, with 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Cover, and cook on LOW for 7 hours of HIGH for 5. 

Enjoy :)
